Wireless Cottage was built in 1908, originally as two homes for the operators of the Post Office wireless station. Later it was adapted to accommodate the telephone exchange, with a home for the local linesman; and then in more recent times it has been progressively adapted and refurbished throughout to provide spacious, comfortable accommodation for ourselves and guests. Our guest accommodation is comprised of - Family bedroom for three - Bedroom for two - Guest bathroom - Guest sitting room. Wireless Cottage is situated just 300 metres from where the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry sails to and from Oban. With tourist office, bank, post office, small shops, pub/hotel, filling station, car hire and other amenities and services, Lochboisdale makes an excellent base for exploring Uist’s sweeping white-sand beaches, wild heather-clad hills and innumerable lochs . |

Loch Beag Bed and Breakfast is located in the crofting township of Fivepenny. It is only five minutes walk to the clean white sandy beaches of the the Atlantic coast which are surrounded by machair rich with bird and plant life. Walking west for another ten minutes will take you to the Butt of Lewis - the most northerly point on the island - and its famous Lighthouse. North Lewis has been inhabited by man for many thousands of years and his ancient imprint is seen throughout the landscape in standing stones, forts, and castles. Gaelic is spoken as a first language by many local people and there’s a wealth of Gaelic music and folklore to be explored and enjoyed. Wildlife is varied and as well as the many birds and wild flowers for which Lewis is world famous, there are otters, red deer, seals and of course the odd whale or porpoise. We are open all year round and have two quality bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Whatever your interests, Loch Beag Bed and Breakfast is your ideal base for exploring north and west Lewis. Ravenstar is situated on our 4½ acre croft in the township of Vatisker just 7 miles north of Stornoway on the East coast of the Isle of Lewis. Overlooking The Minch, with views to the Sutherland hills in the distance, the central heating and double glazing throughout the house ensure a cosy stay even when the weather is inclement. We now have three guest rooms, one double and one twin with en-suite shower rooms, and a double/family room with a wash basin in the room and seperate private shower room. Tea & coffee making facilities are available in each room and guests are welcome to use the Lounge with it’s T.V and open fireplace. Our generous breakfast menu boasts many items of local produce with sausages and bacon from our local butchers, eggs from our own hens, and home prepared cereals, bread and preserves. Hearty vegetarian breakfasts are also available on request. During your stay, you may wish to have a relaxing Holistic Therapy treatment. We are able to offer Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Reiki and a booking can be made in advance or upon arrival |

Ayen Cottage is a small family run bed and breakfast offering comfortable accommodation in one of the more rural parts of Islay approximately 5 miles from Port Askaig ferry terminal. It has about 3200 residents and has an impressive 130 miles of magnificent coastline. There are 8 working distilleries on the island and its home to a huge variety of rare birds, making the Queen of the Hebrides a wonderful place to visit.
