Inchrye bed & breakfast is in the setting of a victorian house built in the year 1901. We are situated on the shore of the Moray Firth looking across to Channery Point and the beautiful Black Isle. We are at the end of the historic village of ardersier.Fort George which is a short walk by road or along the beach is only a mile away and is also an excellent spot for dolphin watching...Inverness airport is a mere 1.5 miles away. There is a very good bus service running between Inverness and Ardersier which stops at the airport and also the large retail park on route to Inverness. A free lift to or from the airport when possible can be arranged.Some of the local attractions are Cawdor Castle, Clava Cairns, Culloden battlefield and many country walks to name but a few..... There is a very good eating place more or less across the road from us which offers good food at a reasonable price.... |

Welcome to the Bank House website. We offer Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Fort Augustus near Loch Ness in the Highlands of Scotland. The Bank House B&B sits on an elevated site overlooking the Caledonian Canal in the centre of Fort Augustus. We are within walking distance of Pubs, Restaurants, Shops and of course the World famous Loch Ness.The House was formerly home to the Bank Manager and as you can see the Fort Augustus Bank still occupies part of the building although it now only opens on Monday, Thursday and Friday.We have en-suite rooms with views of the Canal and Loch Ness.We have three en-suite rooms at the Bank House. They are named after Castles and come with tea and coffee making facilities, a hair dryer and a colour TV. Smoking indoors is not allowed in Scotland. Eilean Donan has a double and a single bed and looks out over the village to Loch Ness. Dunvegan has a double and a single bed and overlooks the Caledonian Canal.
